Your adventure starts with a phone call to me, and there are some questions you need to be ready to answer regardless of the boat you charter. Ready answers and a little research will help make your trip memorable, easy and exciting.
What kind of fish do you want to catch & how big?
Off-shore and in-shore waters around St. Mary's are rich with wildlife. You could catch anything from sharks, to trout to Spanish Mackerel. What kind of fish and how big you want them to be will help you determine the best time for your trip. The kind of fish you want to catch will also help us plan your excursion.

Do you want to keep the fish you catch, and would you like us to clean them?
Are you looking for trophies or a few special meals? Or maybe you just want to experience offshore fishing? This is one of the most important questions for helping you enjoy your experience. We're glad to clean the fish for you (prepare the fish for eating or freezing, if you are unfamiliar with the term), but this is a decision you want to make before you leave the dock.

Do you want to fish in-shore or off-shore?
Going off-shore typically means traveling several miles away from the coast. Staying in-shore means that you will stay in sight of the coast and may navigate some of the rivers that surround St. Mary's. Different fish are avilable depending on which direction you take - in-shore or off-shore.
